Rigor mortis :o

Rigor mortis is one of the recognizable signs of death (Latin mors, mortis) that is caused by a chemical change in the muscles after death, causing the limbs of the corpse to become stiff (Latin rigor) and difficult to move or manipulate[1]. Eerily, during rigor mortis, muscles may contract in seemingly random and bizarre ways even though the body is dead.

It's freaky right? But what's more mind boggling is that the term "Rigor mortis" suddenly popped into my head while on the way to my AGRI 111 class. Maybe my brain conjured it up to remind me that my writing skills are becoming stiff... and that I SHOULD already update my blogsites...cause they're undergoing their own Rigor mortis as well... haha!
Or maybe my own brain's going stiff as well... not functioning well enough for me to blog on about my own out-of-this-world musings...
But can you blame me for it? I got swamped with schoolwork...
Just ask my housemates if you guys don't believe me... but what the hell, why should I prove myself?!
Okay okaaay... going back to the term Rigor mortis...
It is such a mysterious-sounding term that gives you... well obviously... the creeps.
Rigor mortis = death.... waaaaaaaay freaky for me!
But sometimes, I can't help but wonder what would actually happen if I die? Would people cry? Would people remember me?
Or would people even care about it?
Ohh bah humbug! I'm blogging nonsense again! I guess my brain's turning into mush...
Rigor mortis = death = cremation
Yup... it get's better... err worse... I dunno...
I came upon a contest on a certain newspaper wherein they can grant your wish if you tell them what you like & HATE about it... and obviously you have to include your wish of course in 300 words or less.
And I wrote Obituaries as one of my faves... no kidding!
Well it isn't really a fave but a loooong time ago, I became fascinated with THAT part of the newspaper because I kept on seeing the word, "cremation." I became really really curious... I was eager to find out its' meaning...
Until I learned the HORRIBLE truth behind it... (I'd rather NOT elaborate about it's meaning because it's quite...well it gives me disturbing mental images!)
Ahh yes... the absurd "perks" of being TOO curious at a very young age.
So I guess the peeps from THAT newspaper might choked on their coffee upon reading my contest entry. They'll probably say: "What the HELL is this kid thinking?"
Rigor mortis
The more I say I mean write the word, the more I become accustomed to the fact that death is inevitable. I'm not ashamed to admit that I myself am scared about it but then...
Why should I dwell on the idea? There are more things that I should ponder on instead... I only have 1 life to live... so maybe I should just make the most out of it rather than patiently waiting for death to come right? hehehe.
Then I realized...
Rigor mortis is JUST my fave word of the day, haha!
Currently listening to: the radio, haha!
Currently feeling: worried
