The Leap of Faith & the so-called “Positive Thinking”

Posted by catmille13 at 06:16 PM on March 19, 2008.

I got to watch the documentary cum short film (I guess) “The Secret” based from the book (which is also entitled “The Secret” as well).

Though I hate to admit it…

It DID encourage me to be more of an optimist than a pessimist for a fact.

I admit, it wasn’t THAT easy for me to turn myself into a positive thinker in a snap but hey, I guess there is STILL time to reform right?

The film discussed about the “Law of Attraction” thingy wherein when you think about positive thoughts, you will act as a “magnet” for positive things and vice versa.

Well… for now… the film & its’ “let’s all be optimistic” propaganda had rubbed off some good in me… it actually helped me on my anger management. Instead of me, blurting out an instant insult when one has scorned me, it was surprising that I was able to control my temper & shut my mouth.

Hell yeah… the film helped me regain my sensibility & values in some way, woot woot! J

I DO hope that this positive thinking would get me through one BIG leap of faith that I am sooo going to pursue…

Shifting courses…

Yep… I wanted all my life (well, not exactly) to transfer to DevCom instead of working my ass off in Agri, a course that isn’t actually in line with my quirky personality.

I don’t care if I’m gonna be sooo “extended”

What I do care is that I will be able to pursue what I WANT

To hell those judgmental people indeed! Haha!

Yes, I am keeping my fingers (& my other joints as well… kidding!) crossed.

I know it won’t be easy…

I know it isn’t a 100% sure…

But I know, I want, & I’d loved to do the honor of braving my fears & actually GO for what I REALLY love! J

Though I won’t be saying the SAME thing when it comes to my (non-existing) love life, hahaha!

Ahh yes… the joys of being a “converted optimist, a thrill-seeker, & a girl with a sharp tongue” all rolled into one…

But I can say that it is really inevitable that I still THRIVE on sarcasm, hahaha! J
