Rainy Day Tuesday

Believe it or not, I was actually wishing for rain this week since it was too damn humid and too suffocating in my apartment.

Because I was loathing the heat summer brought to Los Baños, I almost strangled myself thinking:

"Why oh why did you ever think of taking a single summer class instead of just chilling out and bumming this vacay Camille?!?"

But when everything and I mean EVERYTHING seemed to make my summer sem WORSE... it suddenly rained!

Oh how I HATE rainy days before (I would even curse rainclouds for showers), but with too much exposure to the scorching summer heat, the sudden downpour became my sole solace from TOTAL boredom and possible heatstroke! Hooray for rainclouds!!! Wee!!!

Yes, there was a sudden downpour just a few hours ago, and along with my housemate Krista, we jumped like frogs and danced like uhmm... uh... crazy in the rain! Nevermind the flu it would bring, we both didn't bother...

We both just had a bit of fun and entertained ourselves... and I do not even had an ounce of regret doing it!

What's wrong with exposing oneself in dirty rain water right?

Aww... the rain suddenly gave sunshine (no pun intended here) to my humdrum summer sem routine...

And along with the rainclouds, I Thank God for bringing my smile back!

The Worst Wednesday

How odd... I was just having the time of my life last Tuesday when I received a VERY horrible news the next day (Wednesday)...

It was in the form of a text message which says:

"We regret to inform you that you did not qualify for admission for the 1st sem 08-09. Thank you for your interest in DevCom. -OCS"

And you know what happened next?

My whole world came crashing down...

I've waited for years to shift to DevCom but alas... with that single text, all my dreams were shattered...

I tried to stop myself from crying again yesterday but at the very moment I was about to sleep... I couldn't stop sobbing... I couldn't bring myself to calm down...

It's just NOT fair... it's too painful for me to fathom right now and I am wishing that this is JUST a bad dream, that it isn't real.

I just wanted to curl up and disappear... this is absolutely depressing.

And today... I feel so tired... and numb...

Last Tuesday, God brought my smile back...

But He took it away from me in less than 24 hours...

My Own Sort-of "World Record"

though i'm still pretty bummed out about what had happened (refer to previous entry), i was fortunate that my eldest sister decided to bring the family to a secluded (waaay secluded) beach in zambales. pristine blue waters and very very BIG waves met us at shore that mostly wiped us out everytime we attempt to go head first on the water.

i had a pretty good time with the addition of having unlimited access to videoke!

but what i love most about this vacay is my own sort-of "world record"

i was able to travel through 3 expressways in a span of a SINGLE day! pretty cool huh?
it happened just a few hours ago as i've decided that after my zamba beach vacay that i'll go straight back to los baños...

so i got to pass through the subic-clark-tarlac expressway (SCTEX is the current longest expressway in Luzon), the north luzon expressway (NLEX) and the south luzon expressway (SLEX) of course...

i do loved the idea of being able to pass these expressways in just ONE day but it did made me quite dizzy, hehehe!

hahaha, now i have the bragging rights to this rare experience, kidding! =^.^=
